You must be able to pass a drug screen and submit two documents for proof of legal employment authorization and identity to work in the USA.


 
SUMMARY: Researches, designs, and develops computer software systems in conjunction with hardware product development by performing the following duties.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Analyzes software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints.
  • Consults with hardware engineers and other engineering staff to evaluate interface between hardware and software, and operational and performance requirements of the overall system.
  • Formulates and designs software systems, using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcome and consequences of design.
  • Develops and directs software system testing procedures, programming, and documentation.
  • Consults with customer concerning maintenance of software systems.
  • Coordinates installation of software systems.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:  To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree (B. A.) in Computer Science from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training.

  • Experience developing with Microsoft Visual Studio technologies including C#, C++, and VB .Net
  • Experience with Java, ASP .Net, ASP, JavaScript, XML and VB 6 preferred but not required
  • Strong knowledge of object-oriented languages and object-oriented design techniques
  • Strong knowledge of relational database technology from a development perspective
